1. Talk to a human
Paheli has one support inbox, and a person reads all of it. We reply within 2 working days, usually sooner. Safety reports jump the queue.
support.paheli@gmail.com — account problems, bugs, billing, safety, deletion requests, press, anything else.
Tell us in the first email:
- the phone number on your account;
- your phone model and app version;
- what you expected, and what happened instead;
- a screenshot, if there is anything to see.
An OTP, a password, your UPI PIN, your card CVV, or a payment to “verify” your account. Anyone who does is impersonating us — do not reply, and forward it to support.paheli@gmail.com.
2. Quick answers
I am not receiving the OTP
Check the number you typed, your network signal, and any SMS-blocking app. Wait the full 60 seconds before requesting a new code — the older code stops working once you do. If three attempts fail, email us the number and the time you tried.
I changed my phone number
Number changes are not self-service yet. Write to us from the account you want moved, with the old number and the new one, and we will handle it after verifying both.
No introduction appeared today
Introductions depend on who is active near you and on your preferences. Widen your distance or age range in Preferences, make sure location permission is on, and check that discovery is not paused in Settings → Privacy.
The puzzle will not accept my solution
Trace the numbers in order, fill every tile, and do not lift your finger. Solutions are checked on our servers, so a network drop mid-submit can fail a correct path — try once more before writing to us.
My photo was removed
Photos are moderated against our Community Guidelines — most removals are nudity, someone else’s photo, a child as the main image, or contact details in the frame. Upload a replacement, and email us if you think it was a mistake.
A match disappeared
The other person unmatched, blocked, or deleted their account. We cannot restore a conversation or tell you which of those it was.
I was charged and got nothing
Restart the app first — most deliveries land within a minute. If it still has not, send us the order ID and we will fix or refund it. See Refunds & Cancellations.
How do I cancel a subscription?
In the Play Store, not in Paheli: profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Paheli → Cancel. Deleting the app or your account does not stop the billing.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Delete account, or email us. The full process and timeline is on Delete Your Account & Data.
I think my account was hacked
Email us immediately with your registered number. Never share an OTP — that is the only way in, and Paheli will never ask you for one.
3. About Paheli itself
Why only a few people a day?
Because fifty thumbnails a night is how you burn out, not how you meet someone. A small daily lineup means you actually read profiles, notice the prompts, and send an opener that isn't "hey" — and so does everyone looking at yours. That's why Paheli conversations get replies.
What's the puzzle about?
A 2-minute path-tracing puzzle — trace numbers 1 to 8 while filling every tile, without lifting your finger. It's a small ritual that replaces doomswiping with a moment of focus — and a filter: anyone in your lineup solved theirs to meet you too.
Is Paheli free?
Yes. The daily puzzle, your lineup and unlimited chat with matches are free. No card, no trial, no catch.
How are intros curated?
We match on interests, prompts, intent and activity — not just distance and photos. Every intro is someone active on Paheli, so you're never writing to a ghost account.
Is Paheli safe?
Profiles are verified, chat starts only on mutual likes, and block/report is one tap away and acted on fast. Your number is never shown, and we never sell your data.
Which cities is Paheli in?
Live across India, with the most active communities in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Pune and Chennai — and growing every week.
4. Report someone, or something unsafe
Reporting in the app is the fastest route: open the profile or the chat menu, choose Report, and pick a reason. Blocking at the same time removes them from your experience immediately, and they are never told.
If you cannot reach the in-app option, email support.paheli@gmail.com with the profile name, roughly when it happened, and screenshots if you have them.
Call 112 first. For money lost to online fraud, call 1930 and file at cybercrime.gov.in within the first few hours. Then tell us. The full list of helplines and what to do is in the Safety Centre.
5. Bugs, feedback and ideas
Found something broken? Send the app version, your device, and the steps that reproduce it — that alone usually gets it fixed in the next release.
Found a security issue? Please report it privately to support.paheli@gmail.com rather than exploiting or publishing it. We will confirm receipt and keep you posted on the fix.
And if there is something you wish Paheli did differently, we would rather hear it than have you leave quietly.
